RIM officially announced its first flip style phone, BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220, previously known the KickStart. The new Pearl Flip 8220 is a quad-band EDGE smartphone with a 240 x 320 internal LCD display, an external display, a 2 Megapixel camera, SureType QWERTY keyboard, integrated multimedia player, WiFi 802.11b/g and a microSD/SDHC memory card slot.
