Depending on the application, the Locator GPS / GSM module uses either a rechargeable battery or an external power supply in the form of a ?power module? which clips to the base (as shown above). This feature offers the advantage of being able to use the same GPS / GSM module for multiple applications. It may also be swapped from vehicle to vehicle within seconds without rewiring.
